Acceptable use policy

You may use Rentino only to:

• 1browse, list, and book rentals for lawful personal use
• 2communicate with other users through in-app chat for rental coordination
• 3complete payments and deposits through the Platform
• 4resolve issues through the Platform’s dispute process
• 5You must:
• 6provide accurate and truthful information (identity, listings, availability, condition)
• 7use items safely and only as intended (especially power tools)
• 8show up for pickup/return on time (or cancel properly)
• 9follow all applicable laws and regulations

You must not:

• 1use the Platform for illegal activity or to facilitate crime
• 2threaten, harass, bully, stalk, or intimidate others
• 3discriminate or use hate-based language
• 4impersonate someone or misrepresent your identity
• 5attempt to extort reviews (“refund me or I’ll leave a bad review”)

You must not:

• 1list items you don’t own or don’t have the right to rent
• 2misrepresent condition, specifications, or included parts/accessories
• 3submit fake damage claims or fake dispute evidence
• 4use stolen payment methods or stolen identities
• 5create multiple accounts to evade bans or penalties
• 6manipulate ratings/reviews (buying/selling reviews, fake reviews)

You must not:

• 1ask users to pay cash, e-transfer, crypto, or any off-platform method
• 2share payment links to bypass Rentino fees
• 3move a booking off-platform after discovering each other on Rentino
• 4(We may treat attempts to bypass fees as a serious violation.)

You must not:

• 1disable safety features on tools or rent items in unsafe condition
• 2provide or request instructions for illegal or unsafe use
• 3rent items that are recalled for safety defects (unless repaired and documented)

You must not:

• 1hack, probe, scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Platform
• 2upload malware or attempt unauthorized access
• 3use bots that degrade service or manipulate ranking/search

You must not post:

• 1illegal content, threats, harassment, or explicit sexual content
• 2personal data of others (addresses, IDs, phone numbers) in listings/photos
• 3copyrighted content you don’t have rights to use
• 4misleading photos (not of the real item) or deceptive descriptions

If an item is on this list, do not list it. Rentino may remove it immediately.

• 1firearms, ammunition, magazines, suppressors, firearm parts
• 2replica weapons intended to cause harm
• 3explosives, fireworks, detonators, black powder and similar materials

illegal drugs, controlled substances, drug paraphernalia marketed for illegal use

• 1stolen goods or items with altered/removed serial numbers
• 2counterfeit/knockoff goods
• 3items that violate import/export, sanctions, or other laws

• 1poisons, highly toxic chemicals, restricted pesticides
• 2items that require special licensing to store/handle and that cannot be safely verified

• 1prescription medical devices intended for clinical use where safe handling cannot be verified
• 2items requiring professional certification to operate (where applicable)

renting animals or listing live animals is not allowed

Rentino currently does not allow:

• 1cars, trucks, motorcycles, scooters
• 2boats, personal watercraft
• 3snowmobiles
• 4dirt bikes, ATVs/quads
• 5any similar motorized recreational vehicles/equipment

drones/UAVs and related flight-critical components

If Rentino has not explicitly enabled a category, you may not list it when it creates elevated risk, including:

• 1heavy industrial equipment
• 2construction equipment that requires licensing/certification
• 3items subject to special transport/storage rules

Power tools are allowed, but Owners must:

• 1list accurate condition and include essential safety parts (guards, batteries, chargers)
• 2not list tools with disabled safety mechanisms
• 3disclose known defects, unusual wear, or missing components
• 4provide basic operation notes where reasonable
• 5Renters must:
• 6use the tools safely and as intended
• 7return all accessories/parts
• 8not modify tools or remove safety features

If you violate this Policy, Rentino may:

• 1remove listings or content
• 2cancel bookings
• 3temporarily hold payouts (especially during investigation)
• 4restrict features (listings, bookings, promotions)
• 5suspend or permanently terminate accounts
• 6report conduct to authorities where required or appropriate
• 7We may take action without notice when there is safety risk, suspected fraud, or illegal activity.

If you see a prohibited item or unsafe behavior, report it through:

• 1in-app reporting tools (if available), or
• 2[email protected]

We may update this Policy. Changes apply to future activity and may be enforced immediately for safety and legal compliance reasons. We’ll update the “Last updated” date when changes are posted.
